Cheap thrills, fast cars, faster women and sex n’ violence around every corner. It’s like a sinister “B” movie that’s playing out in my imagination. Like the cheap paperback you read to escape the drab, dull life that you’ve resigned to accept. You fantasize about barreling down an empty highway, full throttle and running on fumes. No destination in particular as long as it’s anywhere but here. Whether you self implode or slam head first into a brick wall, it’s the thrill of knowing these are the last fleeting moments of your life that drives you. There is no tomorrow, just you and a pile of empty beer cans in a shady hotel on the lower side of town. And oh yeah, a knock on the door.
Going to figure drawing tonight!
Thanks Everyone for all kind words!
Just finished an illustration of a Great White Shark (internal guts
and all) for National Geographic. I’ll post process drawings later.
Thanks goes to Baker&Hill for bringing me on to work on an awesome
project.

CUBS WIN!!!!
I’m getting closer to being able to breathe again. Might be able to start posting new artwork soon. Still have a mountain of work…
I’ve just discovered the VB Library isn’t out to kill me for late fees from 1991. Got. A new card!
Looking forward to a long night of painting, but not looking forward to the clean up that is involved afterwards.
Currently taking a quick break to read email, blog and breath. Ok, back to painting and jamming to Calexico.
Holding breath, indefinitely.
